Here is a piece of what, in my opinion, is effective rhetoric. Not long after Watching the first Meatrix this past February, I stopped eating meat (The Meatrix wasn't the only reason why, but it had an effect). It's dark, but entertaining at the same time.

I love the meatrix! Been a vegetarian for 13 years now...
I used the Meatrix as part of a presentation in my public speaking class in undergrad. I was discussing family farming vs. factory farming and it was a really useful tool in getting the audience up to speed on a complex issue. It's funny and really effective. It's a great example of what I think is effective visual/verbal rhetoric.
